On March 16, 18 and 19, a series of three-day interactive seminars was held, which was conducted by Anna Grigoryan – a lecturer at NUACA Chair of Economics, Law and Management and an experienced specialist (Manager at Majid Al Futtaim Hypermarkets LM LLC).
On the second day of the seminars, together with A. Grigoryan, the topic “DOs and DON’Ts of an Interview” was presented by invited specialists Anna Akulyan (Senior HR at Rosneft Armenia CJSC) and on the third day of the seminar, the topic “How to Introduce Yourself to the Employer” was presented by Mariana Edilyan (HR Director at ID Bank).
The seminar was held in a warm and interesting atmosphere. The participants were not only able to supplement their knowledge, but also to apply it in practice, receiving answers to many questions.
On the first day of the seminar (“The Power of a CV”) the participants got introduced to the importance of the CV, the content, structural features, the mistakes in the CV and modern approaches.
On the second day of the seminar (“DOs and DON’Ts of an Interview”), the participants were introduced to the DOs and DON’Ts of interviews, and issues related to the proper representation to the employer and certain approaches to him were discussed.
On the third day of the seminar (“How to Introduce Yourself to the Employer”) the participants were introduced to the CV as “an item for sale”, a number of key issues were detailed: a cover letter of what content should be attached to the CV? How to introduce yourself to the employer from a more beneficial side? How to successfully pass the probation period and overcome the difficulties related to it?
The seminar was summed up with a question and answer (Q&A) session. Participants had the opportunity to make a CV on the spot and receive a professional consultation, as well as a reproduction of job interview models on a practical example.
The Head of NUACA Chair of Economics, Law and Management Tatevik Yedoyan, thanked the leading specialists in the field for accepting the invitation, conducting the course and imparting practical skills to the participants, emphasizing the importance of such seminars, as they are aimed at helping
youth overcome the difficulties of the initial stage of employment, gain skills to properly introduce themselves to the employer and successfully pass the probation period.
