NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Most of all children like the colour of peace. For one child it is white, for another- red, green, yellow… Today, the children from Artsakh dream of tricolour peace, they dream of returning to their warm houses with their dear family members inside, returning to their favourite games under the blue and peaceful sky, to the place, where everybody is present….

“ARZNI-1” Sanatorium has hosted such children. Homesick children with sad eyes, but at the same time with a strong will to live, will- inherited from their grandfathers and fathers, will- typical only to Armenians, and a smile born from that will.

At the weekend they had guests- the Student Council of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, each member of which took his/her love, warmth and gift to the children. The students had one intention- to prove that the children are at home, in their Homeland, surrounded by loving and caring people. Although it is impossible to show their happiness and excitement with photos, it is obvious, that their day, filled with colours and games, really resembles the flag of the Republic of Artsakh, which they painted and combined in a collage symbolizing the unity of the Armenians around the world and the power to win.

It was not the only visit. Our students had a surprise for them also the next day by organising a walk in Yerevan and other fun activities.

Now there are brave Armenian children living next to each of us, who are waiting for the end of the war with great hope, who are stronger, even their laughter is louder than the sound of any weapon, and their faces tell us in pure Armenian- we will win
