NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Ph.D., Associate Professor Shahen Shahinian held the “Mapping and tourism interconnection” open class with the second-year students of tourism specialty of the Faculty of Urban Economics and Ecology at NUACA. During the course ELMA project and opportunities in the field of tourism were presented to students. Students were assigned to undertake groupwork and develop new tools and capabilities to develop tourism through electronic maps. The accomplished works were interesting and content.

Sh. Shahinyan had three nominations, the best idea, a curious and brave student and the most active student during the course. E. Ordukhanyan, a lecturer of the “Excursion Fundamentals” subject, also had one prize.

1. Azatyan, L. Abgaryan, H. Karababyan and E. Karapetyan were awarded prizes and got thematic maps of “Geodesy and Cartography” SNCO.
