NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

The solemn awarding ceremony of the “Best Student” 2021 contest took place at the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Vahram Dumanyan, Deputy Minister Karen Trchounian, NUACA Rector Yeghiazar Vardanyan, rectors and students of other universities.

The aim of the contest is to identify and encourage the students of higher education institutions who have shown high progress and active involvement in the relevant professional fields (Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Armenian Studies, Humanities, Medicine, Engineering, Culture and Sports).

Karen Trchounian, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Chairman of the Contest Commission, informed that 34 students were recognized as winners of the contest, 16 out of which were undergraduate students and 18- graduate students. The first place was taken by 13 students, to be awarded scholarships in the amount of 445,000 AMD each, the second place was taken by 11 students, to be awarded 345,000 AMD each, and 10 students took the third place, to be awarded 220,000 AMD each.

Tigran Manukyan, a second-year graduate student at NUACA Faculty of Urban Economy and Ecology, took the first place in the field of Engineering, and Melanya Hakobyan, a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Architecture, took the third place in the field of Engineering within the scope of undergraduate academic programme.
