EXTRACURRICULAR LESSON IN OSHAKAN AND ASHTARAK

The second-year students of the “Service” specialty of the Faculty of Urban Economy and Ecology visited Ashtarak and Oshakan.

The students were accompanied by Lecturer at NUACA Chair of Geoecology and Biosafety, PhD in Philology and Associate Professor Zaruhi Hayryan. The aim of the visit was to apply the theoretical knowledge gained at the University in practice, to get acquainted with the museums and sites of the cultural city, as well as with the local historical and cultural heritage.The aim of the visit was to apply the theoretical knowledge gained at the University in practice, to get acquainted with the museums and sites of the cultural city, as well as study the local historical and cultural heritage. The students visited Armenian churches, the Chocolate Company, as well as studied the peculiarities of rural tourism and compiled tourist packages.

The visit became a unique experience in developing the students’ professional and personal skills: it not only deepened their skills in applying theoretical knowledge, but also formed a new experience of cultural communication and stimulated creative thinking.
