The end of the year is always an important occasion to summarize the path taken, to assess the work accomplished, and to clearly formulate our upcoming goals and vision. For our University the ending year has been a period of responsible and substantive changes, program revision and the formation of new directions for development.
The work carried out over the past year once again confirmed that the University’s main value and support is its human potential: its academic staff, researchers, administrative staff, as well as students and schoolchildren. Thanks to your professional dedication, consistent efforts, and high sense of responsibility, it has been possible to ensure the dynamic development of the academic and scientific processes and to lay a solid foundation for further reforms.
We are consistently moving along a path aimed at building a modern, competitive university that meets international standards, based on improving the quality of education and science, as well as enhancing the effectiveness of management. Along this path, it is important not only to respond to changes but also to take an initiative, shaping new approaches and solutions.
The New Year opens up new opportunities before us and calls on us to continue the reforms we have begun with greater responsibility and joint effort. I would like to express my gratitude to the entire University Community for the dedicated and effective work demonstrated over the past year. I would also like to emphasize that our priorities in the period ahead will continue to be the development of academic programmes, the promotion of science and innovation, the deepening of international cooperation, and the creation of a student-centered learning environment.
