WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF SCHOOL-UNIVERSITY COOPERATION

Rector of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia Yeghiazar Vardanyan and Director of Yerevan Art School named after Avet Terterian – Vahan Galstyan signed a memorandum for the purpose of cooperation in educational, scientific, cultural and other spheres. The cooperation between the two educational institutions will be aimed at the development and improvement of the educational process. Practical courses for students and pupils, exhibitions of the best works of the academic and pedagogical staff, students and pupils will be organized jointly, School teachers will have the opportunity to improve their skills through the seminars, courses, training programs and master classes held at the University, as well as University events will be held at the School.

The School, in addition to other departments, has a department of fine arts, the students of which will have the opportunity to participate in professional events held at the University, to get acquainted with the conditions and opportunities that the University has. As it was noted by NUACA Rector Mr. Vardanyan, the University attaches great importance to the University-School cooperation, because the student who acquires quality knowledge at school, in the future, relying on that knowledge, can continue their studies at the university and become a qualified specialist. The University can rely on the School, because from this point of view, the knowledge gained at the Art School named after Avet Terterian inspires confidence that in the future we will have students with quality knowledge. In his turn, the School Director Mr. Galstyan thanked the University for not rejecting the offer and for starting the cooperation. He assured that the School will do everything so that this Cooperation is not considered just an official ceremony, but becomes real.

Such collaborations are a wonderful stimulus for mutually effective cooperation and improvement of the educational process.
