THE T-GREEN PROJECT “TRANSFORMING GRADUATE EDUCATION FOR GREEN AND SUSTAINABLE FUTURE” HAS BEEN LAUNCHED

The Erasmus+ CBHE Project “Transforming Graduate Education for Green and Sustainable Future” (T-GREEN)) funded by the European Union has been launched. The three-year project is coordinated by National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA). The co-coordinator of the Project is the Eurasia International University (EIU).

The T-GREEN Project is aimed at necessary reforms of graduate education, implemented at universities, with a focus on “green” policy. Implementation of the Project will allow universities to move from traditional academic programmes to future-oriented, green, and interdisciplinary academic programmes, promoting student mobility, developing mechanisms for the implementation of academic programmes awarding joint qualification degrees.

The main goal of the Project is the capacity building of national and institutional administrative staff, decision makers, policymakers, pedagogues, researchers, and students, so that these figures can integrate sustainable development goals and environmental issues into policy and educational content.

Armenian participants of the Project are: the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance Foundation, Yerevan State University, Eurasia International University, Armenian State University of Economics, French University of Armenia, National Polytechnic University of Armenia, Armenian National Agrarian University, Goris State University, Gavar State University, “Erasmus Student Network Yerevan” and “Bridge of Hope” NGOs.

EU partners are International Hellenic University (Greece), Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania), Catholic University of Portugal (Portugal), and Jagiellonian University of Krakow (Poland).

During the Project kick-off online meeting the principles of the Project were presented, work packages were discussed, the persons responsible for the implementation of the work and the timeframes were presented as well.
