A regular session of the Scientific Council was held at National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, during which a number of important academic, organizational and strategic issues were discussed testifying to the continuous activity of the scientific potential of the University.
The first issue on the agenda of the Session was the discussion of the qualification documents of candidates for the academic title of Associate Professor. A closed secret ballot was held, as a result of which the academic degree of Associate Professor was awarded to PhD in Architecture, Assistant of NUACA Chair of Theory, History and Heritage of Architecture Arev Samuelyan, and Assistant of the Chair of Roads and Bridges, PhD in Technical Sciences Vigen Ter-Simonyan.
The next issue on the agenda of the Scientific Council was to discuss and define the cost of one credit for full-time undergraduate and graduate programmes for the 2025–2026 academic year.
In addition, during the Session, the dissertation topics and scientific supervisors of applicants and PhD students were approved, as well as the internal legal acts of the University were reviewed and approved. A number of current organizational and academic issues were also discussed, the aim of which is to improve the university environment and promote the process of scientific development.
The Session was marked by its rich content and constructive atmosphere, emphasizing the continuous development of NUACA scientific–educational potential and the faithful steps of the University towards academic excellence and innovation.
