NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

This is the second year that the VENERA MARGARYAN EXCELLENCE AWARD has been granted to the best student of the Chair of Engineering Geodesy of the Faculty of Construction.

However, this year the ceremony and content of the scholarship were special. The one – off scholarship was awarded to Grisha Vasilyan, a fourth – year student with a GPA of 19.47, but the addressee of the money was the RA Armed Forces.

On the initiative of Mrs. Margaryan’s relatives, the idea of awarding the best student the Venera Margaryan Excellence Award for outstanding achievements came to life last year. They were aware of Grisha’s patriotic intentions and, therefore, doubled the amount of the scholarship for the sake of the Homeland and the needs of the Armenian border-guard.

Attendees of the scholarship award ceremony congratulated the student who received the scholarship and praised him for his patriotic deed.
