NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

GIS technology specialist for Mapping and Cartography in general was invited to deliver a lecture for the  second-year students of Excursion Studies of the Department of Urban Economy and Ecology. 

The invited lecturer Shahen Shahinyan presented the history of Mapping, the application of the latest technologies in this area and the importance of using maps in tourism. At the end of the lecture, during the questions and answers session, the gaps and development prospects of the tourism industry conditioned by the myriad of maps and mapping technologies were also discussed . Mr. Shahinyan also expressed his readiness to help the students in the future.
