The FLEXWBL Erasmus + program has been launched

On December 16, 2019, the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA) hosted the representatives of partner universities and organizations arrived to Yerevan to participate at the kick-off meeting of “Development of a flexible, innovative and practical framework for work-based learning in higher education of Armenia and Russia” (FLEXWBL)

Erasmus+ project. The overall aim of the project is to create a platform for the implementation of a work-based learning (WBL) framework in the national high education systems of Armenia and Russia. The participants of the meeting were welcomed by the Acting Rector of NUACA Mr. Yeghiazar Vardanyan. Greeting those present, Mr. Vardanyan emphasized the importance of organizing work-based education for the country universities, and also expressed his gratitude to the European Union, which has been very supportive of the development of the education sector through the ERASMUS + program. The Acting Rector also informed that on the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia major and interesting reforms are being carried out in the Armenian higher educational system, mentioning the new draft of law “On Education and Science”.

 

The representatives of Tver State University (Tver City, Russian Federation (RF)), Perm State University (Perm City, RF), Don State Technical University (Rostov-on-Don City, RF), University of Liepaya (Liepaya City, Latvia), “Eniostudio” organization (Tver City, RF), “Advanced Training Institute of managerial workirs and specialists Federal Service for hydro meteorology and rnvironmental monitoring” (City of Zeleznodorozhni, Moscow region, RF), Yerevan State University named after Bryusov (Yerevan, Armenia), Gavar State University (Gavar town, Republic of Armenia), NUACA, as well as the national office of Erasmus+ project took part at the kick-off meeting.

The participants discussed the planned activities and expected results of the FLEXWBL Erasmus + project. They presented their universities and organizations.
