NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Within the framework of the academic practice in museums of the Republic of Armenia under the supervision of lecturer Susanna Barseghyan, the students of the U-25 group of NUACA “Tourism” specialty visited the house-museum of Lusik Aguletsi. RA honorary artist, “Movses Khorenatsi” medal owner, writer, ethnographer, supporter of Armenian traditions Lusik Aguletsi managed to save more than a thousand different types of elements of Armenian culture, devoting almost her whole life to this and giving every visitor the breath of ancient Armenian traditions. The next visit was paid to the house-museum of the great master of Armenian painting of the second half of the 20th century Minas Avetisyan, in Jajur Village, Shirak Marz. The students got acquainted with his art, which is characterized by the combination of bright and restrained colors, the pictorial condensation of the features of Mother Nature, and life-affirming expressiveness.

The beauty of Lori, the natural monument of Trchkan waterfall, also conveyed a wonderful impression.

During the visit to the Museum of History of Yerevan State University, the students got acquainted with the centuries-old and unique history of the establishment of the Armenian education system, especially about the life and activities of Armenian devotees in the scientific world greatly presented by the guide. The next visit was paid to the Scientific Center of Zoology and Hydroecology of NAS RA, where they got acquainted with the diversity of the fauna of Armenia and the preservation problems of Lake Sevan.

In IGS of NAS RA Geology Museum after H. Karapetyan students got acquainted with the RA geological structure and the wealth of the subsoil. The practice combined the cultural, scientific and natural heritage of Armenia, and the work was appreciated through students’ gratitude.
