Mr. Hoveyan, extending congratulations on behalf of the Rector of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia Yeghiazar Vardanyan and himself, emphasised. “It is a very important and responsible moment not only for the School and the University, but also for the youth, and it is no coincidence that our student receives an appreciation for his courage in his alma mater – the school where he studied, was educated and raised as a man. From time to time ideas are circulating about the best and most effective youth structure. We can confidently state that the best youth structure is our army, our pride in our officers and soldiers who prove with their daily service that they are the best. Our boys are undefeated. Despite our deep sorrow and pain, we are proud that today there are powerful boys like Maksim Vardanyan. It is due to devotees like you that we have been, are and will persevere.”

Maksim Vardanyan extended his gratitude for the appreciation and kind words. “Thank you for the attention and award, but I do not consider myself a hero. The real heroes rest in Yerablur today, those who should have received this award. Nonetheless, it’s a great honour for me to be treated like this.”

At the session of NUACA Rectorate, Maksim Vardanyan was awarded with a Certificate of Appreciation by Rector Yeghiazar Vardanyan on behalf of the University. In his speech, Mr. Vardanyan extended his gratitude to the brave Armenian, stating: “I wish that the continuation of the same courage and devotion finds its manifestation already in the field of activity, confirmed by important professional achievements and successes. The University has always attached great value to the achievements of its students, but I would like to single out Maksim. He and boys like him should be an example for our youth who are ready to risk their lives for the sake of the defence of the Homeland at the critical moment, and after that, engage in education and arm themselves with knowledge.”
