The representative of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, Head of the Department of Foreign Students Tatevik Hakobyan, together with the representative of Yerevan State University and the experts of National Information Center for Academic Recognition and Mobility of Armenia (NICARM) participated in the educational visit on “The European Qualifications Passport for Refugees (EQPR)” held in Bonn, Federal Republic of Germany, within the framework of the “Enhancing National Mechanism of Recognition of Refugees’ Qualifications” grant programme provided by the European Council.
Within the framework of the Programme, one student from each university was selected, and based on the study of their documents, assessment sessions were prepared and held. NUACA representative preferred to consider the need to examine the documents of the Bangladeshi applicant taking into account the flow of citizens of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh applying to the preparatory group of foreign citizens of the University in the 2024-2025 academic year, as well as the peculiarities of the documents required for admission to a higher educational institution.
Then, the final meeting-seminar of the “Enhancing National Mechanism of Recognition of Refugees’ Qualifications (NATREQ-RQ)” Grant Programme of the European Council, as well as the presentation of the bilingual (English and Armenian) manual for the recognition of qualifications developed and printed by the representatives of NICARM, the RA Education and Science Committee, YSU and NUACA was held within the framework of the Programme. The Manual is designed for the staff of RA universities responsible for the assessment of foreign qualifications, as well as university admission.
