NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

International expedition of cave experts visited our country and our university today by the invitation of the NUACA head of Geo-ecology and Biosafety Chair and Doctor of Architecture Samvel Shahinyan.

Rector Gagik Galstyan hosted the members of the expedition. He greeted the guests, wished them interesting and exciting working days. Rector Galstyan awarded appreciation certificates to Russian representatives of delegation Alexey Gunko and Sofia Kondratieva for their joint scientific work on “Spelaeology and Celestology”.

Specialists from Bulgaria, Russia and Switzerland, accompanied by Samvel Shahinyan, will study the caves of Armenia and Artsakh, old monasteries and castles from 28 September to 10 October. In order to conduct research and study the Armenian heritage, the expedition will visit Areni, Vayk, Yeghegnadzor, Sevan, Martuni, Kashatagh, Stepanakert and other cave sites of Armenia.
