NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

NUACA Design faculty students have registered another success at the International Architecture and Design Competition in Nizhny-Novgorod.

This is the fourth time that our university has been participating in the competition, again receiving high marks and words of praise. Dean of the Design Faculty Armen Bubushyan mentioned in his speech, that every year there is an improvement of the quality and the technique of the presented works and the result are diplomas and special prizes.

This year around 750 projects from 62 universities were presented at the competition. There were 14 students from our university, 11 of which received first class diplomas, 3 received second class diplomas, and a special award was given by the International Designers Association.

Handing over the diplomas and congratulating the winners, Rector Gagik Galstyan noted that especially in recent years, the designers, with their excellent and exemplary projects hold our university name in high levels, as well as proves that not only our architectural school is strong, but also that of design.

Sharing the impressions of the competition, Armen Bubushyan also informed that cooperation agreements have been reached with a number of foreign universities, and already this month the cooperation with Milan Polytechnic University in the field of design will be clarified.
