CONSTRUCTIVE MEETING OF THE MANAGEMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY AND THE STUDENT COUNCIL

Recently, a meeting between Rector Manuk Barseghyan and the presidential staff of the Student Council took place at National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the Student Council activities, programs, and priorities aimed at the improvement of university life.

During the Meeting, Rector Manuk Barseghyan attached importance to the need for the improvement of the educational environment, emphasizing the importance of supporting deepening of students’ knowledge and professional growth.

Manuk Barseghyan noted: “The educational environment is extremely important, and we are obliged to provide it for our students, who are an important value of the University. We will work in this direction on a daily basis, solving all issues and creating the best possible conditions for education and self-development.”

Then, the President of the Student Council Karlen Kashanyan presented the activities and upcoming programs of the Student Council, emphasizing the steps taken to protect students’ interests, improve academic programmes, and activate university life.

The Meeting was also attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Robert Sukiasyan, Acting Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs Sargis Tovmasyan, and Advisor to the Rector Arman Arakelyan, who also made suggestions, attaching importance to the students’ involvement in university processes.

The Meeting was held in a Q&A format, where students had the opportunity to raise the questions they were concerned about, present suggestions, and receive comprehensive answers.

Such open and honest meetings contribute to the strengthening of the direct connection between the Management of the University and students, as well as the continuous development of the educational environment.
