NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Dear 2022 graduates of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia,

I welcome all of you. The choice of the venue for our today’s event is not accidental and contains several symbolic meanings: the first is the symbolic meaning of the creation of culture and architectural monuments, the second is the preservation of the world cultural heritage, the next is the creation, construction, establishment of values, the formation of the image of our country and its transference to future generation in the course of centuries. All these symbolic meanings are characteristic of our whole nation, and the graduates of our University are those, who bear and implement these values.

Therefore, I want to congratulate all of us, and especially the graduates of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, on this truly memorable day of acquiring solid knowledge, obtaining a profession and successfully graduating from the University.

Dear graduates, I congratulate your parents as well, because they spared no effort and energy to provide you with the opportunity to get an education.

I congratulate your lecturers. I am sure that they sincerely share your joy, as your achievement is theirs too.

 For almost a century, the graduates of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia have been building our cities and residential areas, roads, reservoirs and hydroelectric power plants, creating transport systems and preserving our architectural monuments, thus shaping the image of our country.

Dear graduates, I assure you that you are in demand in all fields of professional activity, especially taking into account the unprecedented volume of infrastructure programs that have launched and are being implemented today in the Republic of Armenia (construction of 500 kindergartens and 300 schools, 400-500 km of road construction every year, design of several dozen reservoirs, construction of irrigation and water supply systems). Currently, only in Yerevan, the design and construction of about 320 housing blocks have already launched.

Dear graduates, your main mission should be not only to ensure the professional demand of our country, but also to introduce new quality, new ideas and new technologies in the process of solving professional problems.

I assure you that our University will be your guide, supporting you throughout your whole professional career.

Dear freshmen, I congratulate you on entering our University. On my behalf and on behalf of the academic staff of our University, standing on this responsible platform, I promise that you will obtain a quality and solid education in accordance with modern requirements, as well as an honourable profession. You will have the opportunity to study at least two foreign languages for free and in-depth. I am sure that you will also take this journey with honour, as today’s graduates did.

Once again I congratulate all of us and wish our graduates and students good luck and new successes. I wish each of you to fulfill your mission with great responsibility and immense love for the Homeland.
