NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

University seminars are being held at National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, which aim to create a platform for exchange of experience and have discussions on various topics related to science and education. The seminars are held on Fridays and each time one of the University Chairs presents a scientific seminar on a different topic.

Currently, the Seminar on “Problems of Transport Ecology and Solution Paths” has been held, which has been presented by Associate Professor of the Chair of Construction Machinery and Traffic Management, PhD in Technical Sciences Karapet Mosikyan.  in Addition to the University staff and students, representatives from the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Yerevan Municipality and the Road Department also attended the Seminar .

The scientific-research activities presented in this Seminar are aimed at:

• increasing the productivity of the neutralizer-converter by increasing the absorbent-catalytic activity;
• determining operational reliability features of the neutralizer-converter, especially durability (𝛾% resource) and maintainability (hours, km);
• developing the structure of the industrial model of the neutralizer-converter and its location in the exhaust pipeline of the automobile.

Now, additional research is being conducted with the young specialists and students of the Chair in order to increase the productivity of the neutralizer.

The Seminars are not only science-oriented, but also contain practical and educational elements that are useful for both students and lecturers.
