NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Within the framework of the “Sketching Techniques” course of the Chair of Interior and Exterior Design of the Faculty of Design, an exhibition of student works entitled “The History of Line” was opened. The exhibition was dedicated to the memory of the late lecturer of the Faculty of Design Gevorg Mshetsi-Javrushyan. The exhibition included over 600 student works.

NUACA Rector Yeghiazar Vardanyan, representatives of the academic staff and students, guests, and, of course, the family members of Mr. Javrushyan were present at the exhibition.

The exhibition started with the opening speech of the Head of the Chair of Design, Artashes Melikyan, who extended his gratitude to the Rector and all the attendees for their participation, attaching importance to the hard work of the academic staff running the course and the participating student staff, and noticing that the works presented in the exhibition were selected from the works created in 2014-2022 and exhibited for the first time.

The group of lecturers running the course also delivered a speech and extended their gratitude towards the Faculty as well as partners for organizing the exhibition. The coordinator of the “Sketching Techniques” course Knkush Malkhasyan, expressed her appreciation to her partners for organizing the exhibition and reflected on the title of the latter: “The line, like the mind, wonders, passes and travels through all the works showing that it is a simple line, however, it is the basis of these successful works.”
