May is May, same as in all languages, the 5th month of the year. But for Armenian it is not only a month, it is a whole chain of words and feelings, a collective month. We are accustomed to walking continually, with loss and triumph, tear and smile simultaneously.

This is May, our collective month … Sevak liked to sanctify OUR and WE ideas. Yes, only WE have been walking for 27 years with pride and We have chance to tell everyone who is unaware of our history what we have done to take Shushi back and to liberate our history. We wear worn-up costumes retained from our fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers, admire in front of the mirror, and why not, run to the Victory Park with pride and only Armenian little boys who are not yet walking are proudly wearing a green solders uniform. And only Armenians says “My son, you are our hope” … hope that will be tomorrow’s victory
