NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

On September 17-22, 9 students of the department of architecture, construction and design of our university, headed by Garnik Stepanyan, participated in the <Bacco’s Designing the Wine Project> summer school in Udine, Italy. Students from Italy, Armenia, Argentina, Spain, Mexico, Honduras have already visited a number of wine factories in Italy, got acquainted with the existing problems, listened to the wishes and suggestions of factory managers, and then offered their architectural and design solutions.

Merik Chalikyan, Eric Vardanyan, Sergey Petrosyan, Siranush Ghazaryan, Liana Manasaryan, Ani Amaryan, Svetlana Nazaryan, Meri Poghosyan and Anush Ohanyan, who returned back, told about their impressions of Udine. However, as the enthusiastic students mentioned, it is almost impossible to describe what they have seen and heard. Excursions and practices in exceptional places, gained knowledge, shared thoughts, overcome language problems, tasted unique wines and incredible successes. Our talented students prepared such a tiny but subtle mosaic about the impressions of Udine, Italy.

They were so impressed and proud that they asked to mention about the impressionist painting competition between Meri Chalikyan and the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Argentine. The young mind always wins, our student proved it in remote Italy. They also have not forgotten about the Armenian language and Armenian culture. The participant of the Honduras has managed to grasp the spelling until the end of the summer school and personally tell everyone about Armenia.

Certified students also noted that the delegation of our University showed high professional qualities and presented our country and university with honor.
