In 2021-2022, “National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance” Foundation (ANQA) implemented the state institutional accreditation process of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, the purpose of which was to confirm the compliance of the University’s activities with national and European standards and criteria.
ANQA is an independent structure, which was established by the Decree 1486-Ն of the Government of the Republic of Armenia dated November 27, 2008 for implementing institutional and programme accreditations in primary, secondary vocational and higher education institutions. Since 2017, ANQA has been a full member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).
On November 29, at ANQA Accreditation Committee meeting the self-evaluation and expert report on the institutional capacities of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia were discussed, the strengths and weaknesses pointed out by the experts, as well as possible risks were observed. It was also discussed how realistic the improvement plan of the educational institution was. According to the decision of the Accreditation Committee, National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia was granted institutional accreditation for a period of 6 years.
