NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, maintaining constant cooperation with foreign universities, architectural organizations and studios, this time received an invitation from the Voronezh regional office of the non-governmental organization “Union of Architects of Russia” to be included in the jury for an international competition.

Voronezh regional office of the non-governmental organization “Union of Architects of Russia” has initiated an open competition for the elaboration of an architectural-urban development concept for the renovation of the “Khlebozavod No. 1” territory in Voronezh. 43 projects were submitted to the jury for discussion.

The jury included representatives of different cities, including the team represented by the University, headed by the RA Honorary Architect, PhD in Architecture, Professor Tigran Barseghyan, the members were Head of the Chair of Urban Planning, PhD in Architecture, Associate Professor Zara Mamyan, and Associate Professor at the Chair of Architectural Design and Design of Architectural Environment Garnik Stepanyan, who presented a joint decision by the University on the first 3 winning projects.

The University and the jury received certificates of appreciation by the Union of Architects of Russia  and the competition organizers.
