Let us, again, but newly gather around the table,

Let us turn the page and reflect on what happened.

Reliving the past, reshaping the bygones refined,

Pondering over to put the past behind.

Let us cleanse our soul of evil and vile,

That has in vain resided in us for a while.

Let us never forget the “Present” turned into “Past”,

And all the relatives and friends we lost, alas!

Doomed to levitate to heaven, quite vast.

Let us remember the pain and the good,

Let us hold them dear to our hearts, we should!

And promise to keep their memories angelic,

In our minds, in our hearts, like a treasure and relic.

And when the time comes to reflect on all the things already passed,

Will an answer to a question as simple as that just dawn on us?

Are we ready to do good and helpful deeds?

To sow in human souls good seeds?

Well, let us try to live that way,

And let go of the past right away,

“Let us not fight and struggle” for the narrow self-interest of ours,

But for the eternal, HEAVENLY LIFE that truly empowers.

And let us wish the good, indeed

On this awaited New Year’s day sacred,

Let all be sanctified and fully cleansed,

And turn each day into a special gift,

Let us welcome this New Year,

With all the hopes that truly lift,

Let the kind and good always be near

In each and everyone’s family dear.
