NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA
University with a 100-Year History
Staying true to tradition, the solemn ceremony of Graduation Document presentation to graduates of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia took place in the yard of Garni Temple. Students, who entered the University years ago and took the banner of knowledge holding it high, became the bannermen of their own University today. This year about 650 students graduated from the University.
The event started by passing the faculty symbolic banners on: graduates handed the banners of their knowledge and skills to freshmen.
After the solemn opening ceremony NUACA graduates were congratulated and wished professional success by the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Alfred Kocharyan, Chairman of the Urban Development Committee and NUACA Board of Trustees Armen Gularyan, Founder and Member of the Board of the Association of the Armenian Developers Vahe Petrosyan, the Ra People’s and Honorary Painter and Honorary Professor of NUACA Hrant Tadevosyan, Friends of the University, and other honorary guests.
Summing up the event, NUACA Rector Yeghiazar Vardanyan welcomed everyone and noted that the venue of the event wasn’t randomly chosen as it includes almost all the specialties of our University in itself.
“Dear graduates, I congratulate you on this truly memorable day of getting a profession and a successful graduation. I am sure that you are in demand of professional activity in all spheres, as you have gained solid knowledge. I assure you that our University will be your companion and support throughout your professional activity,” noted Mr. Vardanyan in his welcoming speech.
As for the freshmen, Rector reassured that they will receive a high-quality and robust education aligned with global standards and will have an unforgettable student experience, as well as a chance to engage in numerous international exchange programs.
At the end of the official part of the event, YereOne Project musical band performed for the graduates. The well-known presenter and NUACA graduate Aram Chakhoyan hosted the event.
