On the initiative of the Urban Development Committee, training courses for managers of multi-apartment buildings have been launched, which are also being held at National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia. Two organizations are implementing training courses within the framework of the programme.
On the occasion of the launch of the course, Advisor to the Chairman of the Urban Development Committee Nairi Harutyunyan welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of increasing professional training in the field. She attached importance to the professional training of those involved in the management of multi-apartment buildings, taking into account the need for proper maintenance, operation and management of a complex urban development facility. According to her, the new approach to managers will contribute to the development of a real institute of elections to the management body and the creation of competent foundations for effective management of buildings.
Both current managers and those wishing to enter the field participate in the training courses. Participants will acquire legal, administrative and financial knowledge, technical knowledge about buildings, develop negotiation skills and learn to prepare grant applications. At the end of the course, their knowledge will be tested by means of testing.
The Urban Development Committee will soon announce the acceptance of applications for the next stage of the programme.
It should be recalled that by July 1, 2027, building managers or those wishing to engage in this activity must be trained or prepared independently using the questionnaires posted on the “Training of Managers of Multi-Apartment Buildings” section of the Committee’s website, and then collect sufficient points as a result of the testing to have the opportunity to engage in building management after the specified period. The new regulations, based on the Law “On Management of Multi-Apartment Buildings”, are defined by the Government Decree (https://www.arlis.am/hy/acts/183960).
