NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

According to the Memorandum signed between the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia and “IRD Engineering” Company (Italy), Civil Engineering Summer School has started, and will last until July 16. Civil Engineering Summer School is for students of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, civil engineers, and young specialists in related fields.

The participants of the Summer School will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the systems of international road construction programs and to acquire applied knowledge. The format of the courses organized within the framework of the Summer School is hybrid. It includes both “face-to-face” and online lectures, as well as internships at the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure and at a construction site.

On the first day of the Summer School, Deputy Minister Kristine Ghalechyan met the students, presented the process of public administration in the road sector, current programs and ways of development.

Meanwhile, Fabio Buonomo, Chief Operating Director of IRD Engineering, spoke about the types of contracts of programs financed by international financial institutions, key provisions within the framework of the provision of consulting services.

The aim of this program is to give students and young professionals the opportunity to gain experience in system knowledge in the field of technical supervision of construction works and design implementation procedures.
