University with a 100-Year History
On December 25 at the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, an agreement was signed online between NUACA and North-Caucasus Federal University of Stavropol on establishing “Great Caucasus” Consortium.
Welcoming the attendees, NUACA Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Garnik Stepanyan mentioned, “Taking into consideration the centuries-old friendship between our two nations, as well as the opportunities of the partner universities, I think that the above-mentioned Agreement will further expand, develop those relations and soon give the desired result.” At the same time, he expressed hope that this Agreement will contribute to effective joint work, during which all the points included in the content of the Agreement will be implemented due to the efforts of all the people involved in the process.
The aim of the Consortium is to develop and implement effective and purposeful tools for the cooperation in the academic and scientific spheres, intended for scientific-educational and humanitarian-cultural cooperation, as well as for immediate involvement of member universities of “Great Caucasus” in the scientific-educational environment.
The points included in the Agreement also presuppose mutual teaching of the Armenian and Russian Languages and Literature, conducting summer and winter joint schools, conferences, seminars, master classes, exchange of experience, organizing and conducting trainings to promote the lecturers’ qualification, and effective use of distance learning tools․
