A general session of the Student Council was held at National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA), chaired by the President of the Student Council Susanna Hakobyan. The Session consisted of delegates, including members of the Student Council Presidium, students elected from the Faculties, the President of the Student Council of NUACA High School, as well as the President of the Student Council of SVE College.
Advisor to the Rector Arman Arakelyan, as well as the Presidents Hovsep Hoveyan and Armen Harutyunyan, who led the Student Council in different years, were among the guests.
According to the Agenda, President of the Student Council Susanna Hakobyan presented a report on her three years of activities and emphasized that the main goal of her activities was to protect the interests of the students. In her speech, she noted:
“I would like to extend my gratitude to NUACA for trusting me. Over these years, I have done everything possible and impossible to protect the rights and interests of the students, making them informed and protected. I firmly believe that the Student Council is not only the voice of the students but also their strength and support. I am confident that the new team of the Council will continue this path with new ideas and even greater achievements.”
The next item on the Agenda was the election of a new president, conducted by open voting in accordance with the Charter of the Student Council. By a majority of votes, second-year student at the Faculty of Architecture and the Vice-President of the Student Council Karlen Kashanyan was elected.
Afterwards, the newly appointed President of the Student Council Karlen Kashanyan presented his vision, outlining the main directions of the future activities of the Student Council. In his speech, he noted:
“I am confident that the Student Council will not only expand its activities but also the student events and programs will gain new momentum. In addition to preserving University traditions, we will continue to implement and develop new initiatives.”
