NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA
University with a 100-Year History
National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia and “ARMAT Design School” signed a memorandum attaching importance to the role of partnership and cooperation in the fields of student education and specialization, as well as in the processes of their application at business level.
According to the Memorandum, the parties express their readiness to provide each other with mutual professional support, as well as to conduct joint educational and applied work with the involvement of young lecturers, students and employees of the organization.
Rector Yeghiazar Vardanyan noted: “The main idea is to organize work-based learning, which is applied in prestigious foreign universities and gives the desired result. Dear students, we will adopt a regulation on the organization of internships in the upcoming meeting of the Scientific Council, which, among other regulations, will allow students to be exempted from professional internships, if the student brings a reference letter attesting to at least 6 consecutive months of work in a professional organization. With this regulation, the students, who seek to study and enhance their professional knowledge along with work, will be given the opportunity to be exempted from professional internship․ I am pleased to state that such organizations include, for example, “ARMAT Design School,” which has an excellent reputation in the professional sphere and, thanks to the Memorandum signed today, will open even more opportunities for our students to engage in internships and applied projects within the field. There will also be software training courses for the company’s employees and our specialists.”
According to the founder of “ARMAT Design School” Aram Danielyan, the Memorandum will provide students with the chance to actively take part in open sessions, seminars, and discussions held on various international platforms and clubs, as the Design School now steps into the international domain, by establishing branches in Moscow and Dubai. Within the framework of the cooperation, we will be able to engage students in a range of international programs and carry out project initiatives not only in the domestic market but also abroad. Mr. Danielyan extended his gratitude to the University for its trust and eagerness to cooperate and assured that the desired results will not keep us waiting. Meanwhile, Mr. Danielyan informed that a special discount will be applicable to University students demonstrating high academic performance in order to access the services offered by the School from now on.
