Artur Avetisyan, Associate Professor at NUACA Chair of Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation and PhD in Technical Sciences, has recently been invited to participate in the conference held at the Zwickau University of Applied Sciences of the Federal Republic of Germany, which was attended by graduates as well as scientists from over 70 countries.This further education and training event, aimed at focusing on current tendencies and developments in the field of “International Science,” provided an opportunity to get acquainted with German commercial companies and establish many connections with other graduates, lecturers, employees and students. Within the framework of the conference, Artur Avetisyan delivered a lecture on “Perspectives of Green Energy in the Context of Energy Security of Armenia; International Tendencies and New Opportunities․” At the end of the lecture, a Q&A session was held, during which active discussions took place, as the topic was interesting to both organizers and participants.
“Nuclear power, which was recognized by the European Commission in 2022 as a part of green energy, was specifically emphasized in the lecture. To this end, I highlighted the activity, scientific and technical potential, professional potential of Metsamor NPP, emphasizing the significance of RA being the only state to have reactivated an NPP that had ceased its operations” noted Mr. Avetisyan.
According to Artur Avetisyan, Armenia will be able to develop and improve its skills in this field, because the Republic of Armenia is one of the countries with the greatest potential.
