NUACA students have participated in the Worldskills Olympiad. The start of the Olympiad was in September 2023, in which around 60 students from different RA universities took part. 15 NUACA students took part in the Olympiad. The Olympiad was held in stages: the first stage was the pan-Armenian stage held in September-October, where 6 students were to be selected out of 60 students. One NUACA student took the 1st place in the field of “Development of Mobile Applications”, and two students took the 2nd and 3rd places in the field of “Web Technologies”, respectively. In the next stage, two of the six students were to be chosen to represent Armenia in the international platform.
Mkrtchyan Luiza (Web Technologies) and Armine Hakobyan (Mobile Applications) received the right to represent Armenia in the Worldskills 2024 Olympiad to be held in France in September.
At this moment, the students are getting ready to represent Armenia with honour. The students are supported by the University in every way. Soon they will be included in different groups to participate in additional classes and also to develop English communication skills. PhD in Technical Sciences and Associate Professor Karen Petrosyan of NUACA Chair of Informatics, Computing Techniques and Management Systems supports the students.
Additional trainings will be held in summer as well in order to record the maximum result in the world.
