MEETING WITH THE MANAGEMENT OF CITÉ DE L’ARCHITECTURE AND DU PATRIMOINE ÉCOLE DE CHAILLOT

Recently, a working meeting of NUACA academic staff with the management of Cité de l’architecture and du patrimoine École de Chaillot has been held.

Vice-Rector for International Relations Vardges Yedoyan delivered a welcome speech and noted that the working meeting with RE-SCHOOL is the logical continuation of the initiative started about a year ago, when an additional academic programme was introduced at the University, upon completion of which the first 13 graduates received a qualification in the field of Cultural Heritage.

The partner of the programme, Attaché for Cultural Affairs of the Embassy of France in Armenia, the Director of the French Institute in Armenia Guillaume Narjollet also attended the meeting and delivered a welcome speech.

During the meeting, NUACA Rector Yeghiazar Vardanyan and Director of Cité de l’architecture and du patrimoine École de Chaillot Catherine Chevillot signed a framework agreement. The latter envisages to promote and strengthen bilateral cooperation at the international level, to facilitate the exchange of knowledge in order to improve the research and educational programmes of organizations in the field of Cultural Heritage Preservation and Evaluation.

In Armenia, the policy of Cultural Heritage Preservation is implemented at the highest level, and NUACA is part of that process, as the University trains professional personnel – restoration architects.

At the end of the meeting an agreement was also signed between the Deputy Director of Cité de l’architecture and du patrimoine École de Chaillot Delphine Aboulker and the Founder of RE-School Armenia Narine Tyutcheva.
