NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA
University with a 100-Year History
Dean of the Faculty of Construction Aram Sahakyan was a guest on the program “Specialty” of the Public Radio of Armenia and talked about the specialty “Industrial and Civil Engineering”.
Residential buildings, hospitals, schools, kindergartens, banks, manufacturing facilities: in the world surrounding us, any building and structure of different types and purposes are brought to life due to the boundless horizon of skilled and knowledgeable industrial and civil engineers in the field of industrial and civil engineering.
A unique, always modern, creative and dynamically developing specialty, where culture and exact sciences, national traditions, modern design and construction technologies, protection of the environment and cultural heritage collide. A specialty that is extremely responsible not only before the customer, but also before the whole public, time and future generations. A specialty that is beyond merely defining the image of the Armenian, because for centuries, thanks to the creative thought, mastery and originality of Armenian builders, world-renowned masterpieces have been created.
Construction is one of the most important sectors of any country’s economy, and it is developing extremely quickly in the modern world. It is utterly important that each building is constructed in a literate manner and in line with time, preserving and transmitting national values, combining modern construction technologies, and incorporating the security and efficient use of space as much as possible.
