NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

The exhibition-competition of student projects organized by the Chair of Architectural Design and Design of Architectural Environment took place at NUACA. Projects of industrial and public buildings of the 3^rd year students of the Faculty of Architecture were presented in the Exhibition Hall.

Professor at the Chair of Architectural Design and Design of Architectural Environment and the organizer of the Exhibition Garnik Stepanyan delivered an opening speech. Congratulating everyone on the occasion of the Exhibition, Mr. Stepanyan noted that it would become a motivation for the students of the lower years, as good works create aspirations among students to come up with better ones. Garnik Stepanyan wished success to all participants.

NUACA Acting Rector Manuk Barseghyan was present at the Exhibition. Mr. Barseghyan noted: “Congratulations to everyone, especially to our students for having such ideas and giving us the right to judge them. I also welcome this teaching methodology, and think it is unique and will have strong foundations in the future. This process will improve the level of our architectural education.”

The Jury of the Competition included only excellent students studying in the graduate programme of the HEI, who have already passed this stage over the years of studying in the undergraduate programme and today will be able to objectively evaluate the works of their younger friends. This is also an experience for them, as in the near future, when carrying out practical activities, students will also need to master the skill of evaluation.

According to the students, the format of the Competition is also new for them and they are eagerly waiting for the results of the Exhibition-Competition.
