NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Employees of the Ruski Dom visited National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia. The purpose of the visit was to summarize the results of the Olympiad conducted jointly by the Russian Language Center and the Chair of Languages, as well as to reward the participants of the Russian Language University Olympiad.

21 students participated in the Olympiad, 11 of them in the first stage, 9 in the second stage. According to the results of the second stage, three of the participants won. The first place, a first-class diploma and a prize were awarded to Davit Zazyan, the second place, a second-class diploma and a prize were awarded to Katarina Minasyan, the third place, a third-class diploma and a prize were awarded to Lili Harutyunyan․

All participants of the Olympiad were awarded with certificates of appreciation. The prizes were handed over to the winners by the Deputy Head of the Ruski Dom Victoria Deripasko, who congratulated the students on their victory, wished them success in their chosen career path, and also invited them to participate in the Russian Language Republican Olympiad.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Head of the Ruski Dom V. Deripasko, the Coordinator of Programs and Education Projects T. Dronskaya and the Assistant of the Coordinator of the Russian Language Academic Programmes M. Avanesova. The ceremony was also attended by Vice-Rector for International Relations Vardges Yedoyan, as well as the Head of the University’s Russian Language Center, PhD in Philological Sciences Karina Hovhannisyan.

Yerevan Ruski Dom provided educational materials to the University at the end of the visit in order to teach Russian and achieve new successes in future Olympiads and events.
