For the sixth year in a row, the “Excellence Award after Venera Margaryan” is handed over to the student with the highest grade point average in the geodesy subjects of NUACA Chair of Engineering Geodesy.
Venera Margaryan was a NUACA esteemed professor and the Head of the Chair of Engineering Geodesy from 2012 to 2015. It is due to Mrs. Margaryan’s dedicated work that the Chair continues to educate high-quality specialists who are currently in high demand in the labour market.
The award ceremony took place at National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia and was attended by Chief of the Staff Paylak Karapetyan, Dean of the Faculty of Construction Aram Sahakyan, Dean of the Faculty of Urban Economy and Ecology Valerik Harutyunyan, Head of the Science Department Sargis Tovmasyan, family members of Mrs. Margaryan, lecturers of the Chair, and fellow students of the winning student.
“I am glad to see people here who value the continuity of education and are dedicated to that process. Education is not only a way to transfer knowledge, but also a process of constant development and self-improvement, which is ongoing and never stops. The people who promote and motivate education have a pivotal role, and their work provides a stable foundation for progress and success for new generations,” noted Chief of the Staff Paylak Karapetyan in his final speech.
In her speech, NUACA student mentioned that she will purchase a drone with the award, which she will later use for professional studies, which once again proves the importance of the continuity and development of education.
