Yesterday, the full session of the Chair of theory of architecture, restoration and reconstruction of historical-architectural heritage, fine arts and history of NUACA was filled with opinions and views to be discussed.

The faculty of the Chair also had something to say, and the session was the best opportunity to voice the collective opinion that had been formed during the last five years of the university’s fruitful activity.

The National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia is on the verge of rector election, and the faculty of chair considered it necessary to summarize the important events in the university during Rector Galstyan’s tenure, outstanding achievements in architecture, various agreements and successes.

Those present at the meeting, without hesitation, first of all pointed to Gagik Galstyan’s human and moral qualities. Many of them stated that they received the rector’s support many times on both practical and personal matters.

According to them, the Rector has always participated in ongoing discussions of the thematic programs funded by the State Committee of Science at the University, realizing that the modern university should be presented as an important scientific center.

Most lecturers also agreed that Rector Galstyan’s effective work in the area of scientific, pedagogical, expanding international relations of the university, renovating and rehabilitating scientific and experimental laboratories, establishing studios is evident during the last five years.

In addition to promoting scientific, pedagogical and instructional processes, the attendees also emphasized the rector’s special attention on the university’s living conditions, providing students and staff with a comfortable and conducive environment.

At the end of the session, as a summary, the Chair, highly praising the rector’s five-year productive work and appreciating his human and organizational qualities, expressed readiness to support Gagik Galstyan’s tenure.
