OUR STUDENTS’ PROJECT HAS BEEN GIVEN SPECIAL ATTENTION IN BORDEAUX

The REA 23 works launched on April 14-20 at the Higher School of Architecture and Landscape of Bordeaux city, France among which 9 teams from a number of architectural schools in France, Armenia, Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary have been developed and submitted to the professional committee and the public 9 projects aimed at rebuilding and enhancing the vitality of the historic core of the city of De Gain. The joint project of the Armenia representing Melsida Babayan and Serlie Vartabedyan, students from the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, aroused great interest among both the participants and the local self-government bodies and society. The project took the 4th place.

The lectures were delivered by lecturers Ashot Kanayan on “Architecture Thinking Problems with Modern Challenges of Sustainable Development” and Nune Petrosyan on “Institutional Aspects of Urban Heritage Identity Preservation in the Context of Sustainable Environment Development”.
