NUACA STUDENTS HAD THEIR CLASS IN ANI

Within the framework of the subject “Tourism”, the students of group U-14 of the “Service” specialty of NUACA Faculty of Urban Economy and Ecology visited Norashen Village under the supervision of Susanna Barseghyan, lecturer at the Chair of Geoecology and Biosafety. The village is located on the border of Shirak Marz, and the students visited it to see the ruins of medieval Ani – one of the ancient Armenian capitals, a city of a thousand and one churches, as well as one of the largest Eastern cities of the XI-XIII centuries.

The students’ visit to Ani was not random. The University attaches great importance to practical classes and gives the students every opportunity to practically apply the knowledge acquired at the University after studying the theory, as well as to gain some professional experience. The students saw the ruins of magnificent churches, glorious monasteries, the parts of high towers and walls with their splendid sculptures and also visited Dashtadem Fortress.
