NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

The winners of “NUACA CHESS CUP 2023” chess tournament received their awards. About 30 students of all faculties of the University participated in the tournament. The student of the Faculty of Construction Vardan Sargsyan was declared the winner of the tournament, and the student of the Faculty of Management and Technology Anna Poghosyan was declared the winner of the tournament among girls. The absolute winner of the overall tournament was Vardan Sargsyan, who surpassed all participants.

NUACA Rector Yeghiazar Vardanyan congratulated the students at the Rectorate Session. Attaching importance to the tournament, Mr. Vardanyan noted that besides the professional knowledge acquired at the University, the knowledge acquired due to extracurricular activities is also very important. In this context, chess has the best influence on the development of the engineering mindset. The winners were awarded with medals, diplomas and, of course, incentive gifts.
