Recently, a meeting was held at NUACA, dedicated to the fundamental principles of rescue work, the development of volunteer student rescue teams, and the features of using rescue tools.
The Meeting was conducted by the responsible employee of the Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of the Yerevan Rescue Department Garegin Hakobyan and the Head of NUACA Civil Defense Department and Responsible Person for Fire Extinguishing Arman Badalyan.
During the Event, participants got acquainted with the role of volunteer student rescue teams, their development opportunities, and the importance of student involvement in emergency situations. It was also discussed how students can acquire rescue skills and become active participants in these initiatives.
In addition, the types of basic rescue tools, their application methods, and the need for their correct use in emergency situations were presented. The participants had the opportunity to get an idea of tools such as rescue ropes, special cutting devices, as well as other important equipment used in various situations.
The Meeting was held in a meaningful and interactive format, contributing to increasing the level of knowledge and preparedness of the participants.
