NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Central office of Armenian Church Youth Organization held the spiritual-intellectual contest “Khachapatum” among 5 schools of Kentron District, in which High School after M. Abeghyan of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia also took part.

The contest was held in cooperation with the Christian Education Center of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. 5 pupils from each school participated in the contest. The contest was entitled “Khachapatum” because the main questions referred to the celebrations dedicated to the Lord’s Savior Cross and the Gospel passages about the Crucifixion. For each contest, questions were prepared in line with the curriculum of the given grade. Admittedly, all the pupils stood out with their knowledge and training. Often, without taking advantage of the short time given to them, the contestants immediately gave the right answers.

Among the 10th graders High School after Manuk Abeghyan was the winner, while Basic School after Alexander Pushkin- among the 9th graders. At the end of the contest, the winning teams were awarded diplomas and prizes, and the participating teams were awarded certificates of participation.
