NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Roundtable discussion on the production needs and challenges was held within the framework of “Promoting Academic-Business Collaboration through a Collaborative, Free and Innovative Platform” Erasmus + project at the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia.

The meeting was attended by the Chairmen of Construction Structures, Construction Manufacturing Technology and Management, Roads and Bridges,  Informatics, Computer Science and Management, faculty, students and representatives of the industry. During the meeting so many questions raised; such as what skills do students acquire while studying at university and what skills are needed in manufacturing? Is there any missing between the knowledge acquired at university and the skills required by employers? and so on.

Marina Ghazaryan, Vice Rector of IT and Financial Affairs and Mher Markosyan, Chairman of the Informatics, Computer Science and Management, presented materials on the All4R & D Erasmus + project and the Seismic Resistance Research Unit to be established at the NUACA. Tigran Dadayan presented materials on equipment intended for the above mentioned research unit.
