HEROIC PATH: IMMORTAL LEVON DANIELYAN

Kind, friendly and honest Levon Danielyan had chosen the profession of an economist. He had just started to feel the joy of being a student when he was drafted into the compulsory military service. A difficult but heroic path full of pain and challenges was awaiting 19-year-old Levon Danielyan…

Levon, who had received the rank of junior sergeant, had also been awarded with two badges for his exemplary service and behavior. Due to his selfless friendship, he had earned the love and respect of everyone. However, like many Armenian men, his life was confronted with the sudden war as well, where the courage and the devotion of a hero became both His friend and enemy.

Martuni, Askeran, Hadrut, Shushi; Levon’s 44-day military path went through the heaviest battles. Being the commander of the unit, he inflicted numerous losses on armored vehicles and manpower օf the enemy. He had also prevented the enemy’s attacks several times with his precise blows, saving the lives of his comrades-in-arms.

Multiple medalist Levon’s last destination was Shushi. Fighting stubbornly until his last breath, Levon died heroically on November 7.

Glory to You, our friend Levon, traveler of light and eternity.
