OPEN DOOR DAYS AT NUACA

The “Open Door Days” program launched at National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia. The members of the Student Council welcomed the applicants and accompanied them to the conference hall, where the President of the Student Council Susanna Hakobyan presented our University, the current academic programmes, and the opportunities provided by the University.

Greeting the applicants, S. Hakobyan emphasized that regardless of the chosen specialty, it is highly important to get acquainted with the whole University, where our future students will spend the best years of their lives.

Afterwards, the applicants had a tour around the University, entered specialized auditoriums, studios, laboratories, got acquainted with the material-technical and laboratory opportunities, as well as deepened their initial awareness of our University through their questions.

At the end of the meeting, in the Admission Department and Career Center, the applicants got the answers to all their questions about the organization of admission and current procedures. The applicants expressed their opinions with great excitement and enthusiasm.

Milena Ghazaryan, a student of “Hakob Kojoyan” Educational Complex, who prefers the specialty of “Environmental Design”, attaching importance to the meeting, mentioned: “Everything was so interesting that we did not notice how time passed. The sculpture studio was particularly interesting and motivating.”

For Hovhannes Khachatryan as well, a student of Yerevan State Sports College of Olympic Reserve, these first impressions were positive. In addition to receiving exhaustive answers to the questions about specialty, he also attached importance to the hectic student life at the University, the warm welcome of the members of the Student Council, easily perceivable explanations, and student-lecturer warm relationships, which they witnessed during the visit.

According to Artyom Arakelyan, a student of Vanadzor High School No. 5, such events organized by the University have a great impact on their specialty orientation, especially in terms of easily getting used to the University environment in the future. “It is wonderful to be at the University, become a part of it, to participate in the events, before even being admitted. “Open Door Days” was very useful, interactive and unifying for all of us. We got acquainted with the University auditoriums, laboratories, studios, so in the future we will be freer at the University and will orientate more easily,” emphasized A. Arakelyan.

The next meeting will be held on March 24. To participate, prior registration is required.
