NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

The students of the English group of the Faculty of Architecture of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, mainly from Iran and France atended a lecture on cultural heritage, historic cities and reconstruction of architectural monuments at Erebuni Historical and Archaeological Museum of Yerevan.

Here, students learned about the history of the establishment of Yerevan and visited the excavation site. The leader of the excavation group, associate professor Mr. Badalyan briefly introduced the students with the archaeological works done in the fortress since 1950s’, as well as the state of current excavations.

Foreign students followed and, to a certain extent, were engaged in the  excavation process, which made the link between the archaeological and architectural monuments more vibrant for them.
