NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

 Before proceeding to the agenda of the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA) on November 16, 2020, a minute of silence was observed in memory of 20 students (at this moment)of the University who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the Homeland in the Artsakh war, as well as other martyrs. The issue of electing the Rector of the University was discussed at the meeting of NUACA Board of Trustees.

Based on the conditions of the procedure of the Rector’s election, the election day of the Rector of the University had been set for November 16: informed the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Vlad Asatryan. Doctor-Professor of Technical Sciences, Acting Rector of the University Yeghiazar Vardanyan was elected Rector of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia by secret ballot.

The announcement of the competition for the position of the Rector of the University had been posted on the University website and in the mass media in accordance with the prescribed manner and within the established timeframe.
